Took a look at my first proposed location for the wine bar today and I really hope I can make it happen here because it's a near perfect lay out. The building is situated in Wayzata and is a former Cosi's restaurant.
Pros: Lakeview, woodburning stove, sharing bathrooms with gianni's who would clean them
Cons: Not enough storage space, not sure if there's enough space for a piano which is something i really want, not great parking, not enough outdoor patio space that would be key in this part of town.
So it's a little on the pricey side but i think for the location it's a good deal. I think i'll check out two or three more places just to have some options. Tomorrow I will have some info on liquor licenses which should help with the business plan.
EVENT: This saturday Kristin and I will be vistin Beaujo's Wine bar in Edina!! Our first visit to a real wine bar to see the differences and how it compares. Feel free to meet us there, and from there we may wine bar hop to uptown! Keep in touch Winers!
